Common questions

The tuner doesn't react to my instrument

Overtone needs microphone access to hear you. Open Settings › Overtone and turn on Microphone. If you're using Bluetooth headphones, try the built-in microphone instead.

Ableton Link doesn't find my other devices

All devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network, and Overtone needs local network access: Settings › Overtone › Local Network.

How do I add sheet music?

Import a PDF from the Music tab, or open a PDF in another app (Files, Mail, Safari) and share it to Overtone.

Where are my recordings?

They stay on your device, inside Overtone. You can also find them in the Files app under On My iPhone › Overtone.

How do I get the Apple Watch app?

Open the Watch app on your iPhone, scroll to Available Apps and tap Install next to Overtone.
